Overview

Custom drone sheet metal parts, fabricated and finished in our own workshops

Tooling, stamping, laser cutting, bending, welding and surface finishing all run in our eleven workshops in Foshan — the part never leaves the plant between steps.

On a drone, every gram is paid for twice: once in the part and once in the flight time. Metal parts on an airframe are usually the ones carrying load, so they are designed thin, with the material where the bending moment is and nowhere else.

Thin sheet is laser cut and formed, then welded at the joints that carry load and riveted where a weld would distort a thin panel. Holes are positioned from the assembly model so a motor mount or a battery tray lines up with the frame, and edges are deburred so nothing chafes a cable.

Send the assembly model with the load paths marked and tell us the target weight per part. Where a thinner gauge or a lightening hole would work, we say so; where the part would flex, we say that too.

This part runs at 200 pcs per batch, with the die designed and maintained in our own tool shop. If you need a smaller trial before committing to the run, say so in the enquiry and we will quote the two quantities side by side.

Send a drawing for a part-specific data sheet.

Why this drawing matters. Every tolerance, hole position and bend radius on this page is confirmed against a drawing during quotation — so what you approve is what gets inspected at the end of the line. The published drawing is a generic sample, never a customer's file.

Certifications behind the batch

  • ISO 9000 — the quality management system our stamping and forming lines run under, from incoming material to final inspection.
  • CCC — China Compulsory Certification, the domestic market access mark.

Paperwork that travels with the goods

  • Batch inspection record — the production run's dimensional and appearance checks, reported in English.
  • Material certificate — the mill certificate for the steel or aluminium heat, on request.
  • Third-party inspection — SGS, TÜV, BV or your own QC are welcome at the plant before loading.

UL, CE, RoHS, ETL

Overseas marks are applied for by the importer in its own market — the normal division of labour in this trade. Our side of it: samples, material data and process records for your test house, and manufacture and inspection to the standard your drawing names (ASTM, EN, ISO). A mark goes on nothing we have not tested.

Why this part

Six things that decide whether a custom part arrives right

Every one of them sits inside our own plant, on the same floor as the parts.

01

11 workshops, one roof

Stamping, laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, polishing and assembly all run in-house, so tolerances are held from the first blank to the final finish.

02

26 presses + 350T drawing

160T × 2, 100T × 4, 80T × 8 and 60T × 12 presses, plus a 350T hydraulic press for deep-drawn housings and larger shells.

03

Runs at 200 pcs

This part is produced in batches of 200 pcs. Tooling is built here, so the die stays with the part and a repeat order does not pay for it twice.

04

Tooling made in-house

Three utility patents on our own tooling. The die is built and maintained by the same team that runs the press, so a design change moves with the part.

05

Documented, not decorated

ISO 9000 and CCC held. Each batch leaves with an inspection record, material certificates on request, and third-party inspection is welcome before loading.

06

Inspect before you pay

SGS, TÜV, BV or your own QC team can walk the line and inspect finished parts at our plant. Reports go to you, not to us.

Production process

How the order runs on our floor

Five steps, in this order, all in Foshan.

1

Drawing review

Send a PDF, DWG, DXF or STEP file. We check material, sheet thickness, tolerance and surface finish, and flag anything that needs adjusting before quoting.

2

Tooling in-house

Dies are designed, cut and maintained in our own tool shop — three utility patents on our tooling. A design change moves with the part.

3

Stamping & forming

26 presses from 60T to 160T, plus a 350T hydraulic press for deep-drawn shells. Laser cutting and CNC bending handle blanks and complex forms.

Press line
4

Welding & finishing

Tapping, welding, grinding and polishing complete the part. Surface treatment is specified to your drawing and documented per batch.

5

Inspection & shipment

Incoming checks, in-process checks and a final layout inspection. SGS, TÜV, BV or your own QC team are welcome before loading.

Factory

Made in Foshan since 2004

We run 13,000+ m² across eleven workshops in Foshan, Guangdong, China, with 51–100 staff. Sheet metal is the whole plant: the die is built where the part is stamped, the finish is applied where the part is formed, and a quality question is answered by the people who made the part.

How to order

From drawing to delivery

Four steps, no account required. We reply within one working day.

1 Send your drawing

PDF, DWG, STEP files or a physical sample all work. Tell us the quantity you have in mind — one piece is a valid starting point.

2 Engineering review

We confirm material, tolerance and surface finish, and flag anything that needs adjustment before quoting.

3 Sample first

A prototype is produced in 4-7 days so you can verify fit, finish and assembly before committing to volume.

4 Mass production

Laser cutting, CNC bending, punching, welding and in-house surface treatment are all completed under one roof for consistent quality.

Packing & loading

OEM and ODM projects are welcome, and we can support you in meeting your target-market certification requirements. Custom drone sheet metal parts are produced in our Foshan factory, where 26 punch presses plus CNC laser cutting and bending equipment handle both one-off prototypes and repeat production runs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions buyers ask most before requesting a quote.

Can you make the part lighter?
Often. Lightening holes, a thinner gauge or a change of joint can take weight out, as long as the load path still works. Send the model and the weight target.
Will welding distort a thin bracket?
It can, which is why thin panels are riveted and only loaded joints are welded. The joint type is decided at drawing review.
Do you deburr for cable routing?
Yes. Every edge that a cable or a finger can reach is deburred and, where needed, rolled over.
What do you need to quote a part?
A drawing with material, thickness and the dimensions that matter, or a STEP file plus those notes. A sample also works: it is measured and the drawing is built from it.
What certificates come with the order?
We hold ISO 9000 for quality management and CCC, the China compulsory certification. Every batch ships with an inspection record, and mill certificates for the material are available on request. Marks such as UL or CE are applied for by the importer in its own market; we supply the samples, material data and process records a test house asks for.

Request a quote

Send your drawing — quoted within one working day

Tell us the part, material, dimensions and quantity. PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP files or a physical sample all work. If your enquiry needs an engineer's input we tell you the expected date instead of leaving you waiting.

  • Nothing you send is shared with anyone else.
  • Include a drawing link or describe the part — we only come back with questions if something is genuinely missing.
  • MOQ 200 pcs per batch; custom and OEM projects quoted from your drawing.
